This is a quick way I use to reward students with extra credit. By giving them a picture to doodle in, it reduces the temptation to doodle something rude on the assignment. It also gives them a quick break between questions on the assignment.
This can go in any blank space in the assignment, and can be used to reward students that are on task. It can also be used to help visual students draw science related ideas. Its also just plain fun for your students.
It also helped me organize my classwork as each assignment could be easily sorted by the picture on it!
It also makes a great time fill for when you end up with some free time on those odd days of school.
