Are you looking for word work activities for au, aw, al? Then, this is the resource for you!
These are adorable activities that you can use as part of your guided reading, word work, or as a learning activity. There are 6 color learning center activities and 13 b&w worksheets. This resource has everything you need in one place to teach the sounds of au, aw, and al. Your students will be engaged and enjoy learning. I've just made your life a little easier by provided everything you need to get ready and teach.
Activities Included:
1. Word Sort- The children will sort the words into 3 groups, words that have au, aw, or al in them. When the children complete the activity they turn the cards over and if they completed it correctly it makes a picture. The children are always amazed by the picture that the activity makes.
2. Look & Find- Children will hunt for 20 hidden au, aw, & al words and write their words on a recording sheet.
3. Game Board- Children will move their pieces around the game board by reading au, aw, & al words.
4. Match Up-Children will place au, aw, or al cards on top of words to form words.
5. Cut & Paste- Children will cut out au aw, and al letters and glue them on the correct word.

8. Clip It- Students will use clothespin and clip correct vowel sound.
