Description
These activities at the most basic level introduce children to words that correspond to the key letter, but to enhance learning and create collaboration, include older siblings / children.
Activities within:
read an excerpt on each ballpoint person, w/bolded words that focus on key letter
reading comprehension questions (2-4 each letter)
parts of speech - circle the part each bolded word is
The reading comp and parts of speech pages may be more appropriate for older children (4-6th grade); the letter name/sound activity in the bolded words is better for younger kids (under grade 4). Depending on learning level, special needs, etc. some of this will be review or perhaps too challenging with only one age group or child. It's flexible on purpose!
