• integrated with the 3rd Grade LIFE SCIENCE study of Animals,
• OR taught as a stand-alone unit of ART for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
The BUTTERFLIES in ART Unit includes:
• Art history lesson about a famous artist/ artwork
• Elements of Art and Principles of Design worksheet
• How to draw symmetrical insects art activities
• Two differentiated butterfly art projects
o Pages can be printed and stapled together like a book or distributed individually during each lesson. All pages are available in color, b/w (black and white), and in the Unit Presentation.
o Perfect for third-grade teachers looking to explore Science subjects through Art and include more creativity across the curriculum.
