Description
This cause and effect resource includes a variety independent activities and whole group activities. Resource is differentiated for K-2 with pictures to sentences. All the activities work great as literacy centers too!
Here's what I include inside:
Cause and Effect Matching Ice Creams - Students cut out ice cream cones and match cause and effect pictures
Cause and Effect Picture Match - perfect for Kinders who are still learning to read. Provides and extra challenge for learners. Pictures help them understand relationship. A graphic organizer is provided for extra support.
Cause and Effect Sentence Matches - Perfect for first, second, or even advanced K's. Students read sentences and place in correct spot on the graphic organizer provided. The first set has real-life examples and the second set contains silly examples that get students thinking outside of the box. This can be a great whole group activity or independent work!
Cause and Effect Free Response - once your students have the hang of cause and effect, introduce the last page as a fun think aloud. Students figure out a cause or effect for the given box. Statements are open ended and can generate a lot of fun responses. Great for a think-pair-share activity or whole group!
