This creative Cold War Timeline Research Project has differentiated options to best fit your students' needs. Are you looking for project-based learning for social studies? This project comes with instructions for chunking and scaffolding so that students are not overwhelmed.
This American History project includes printable timeline templates, a digital option, two grading rubric options, and an answer key. Differentiation is built into the design of this project. The Cold War Timeline Project is adapted to help all students access grade level content!
Students will research specific events from the Cold War to examine the United States' foreign policy during the Cold War. A student example is included in this product. This resource includes a grading rubric, printable timeline templates, and a digital option for virtual learning.
Best of all, a digital option is included via Google Slides!

How to use with Lower Level Students:
-Project Description includes a 3 step process for completing the project. Have students start with step 1 (putting the events in chronological order), and give assistance as necessary. When students are finished with the first step, they can move on to step 2.
-It may be easier for students to make the project in a PowerPoint so that they can move the topics around easily when putting them in order by date.
