Description
In this activity, students will focus on six events surrounding Jesus' death, burial & resurrection. The four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are all accounts of Jesus' life and ministry while here on earth - each from a different perspective.
For each event, they will complete two slides. Beginning by reading the Matthew account, students use the first slide to keep track of any additional information they find in each of the other gospels. On the second page, they then add all the additional details from Mark, Luke & John to the Matthew account to create a complete account of what happened.
Events in this activity: The Last Supper, The Garden of Gethsemane, The Crucifixion of Jesus, The Death of Jesus, The Burial of Jesus and The Empty Tomb.
In this folder you will have access to:
- PDF: 12 worksheets (2 for each event)
Print: Each slide can be printed on 8.5x11 paper. Students can complete the note-taking worksheet for each event and then rewrite it including details from all four gospels.
