Financial Literacy - Online Lemonade Stand Project (with Google Slides™)
$7.00
I created this project because starting a Lemonade Stand is such an incredibly valuable experience for students. However, it isn’t always realistic to make an actual stand based on time, resources, and other limitations that may be present in your school community. I still wanted my students to learn the principles of a lemonade stand though, so created this resource. The lemonade stand is online which makes it accessible to everyone. Additionally, this allows students to learn from their mistakes and try again very easily! It’s a great way to learn about the fundamentals of business, supply and demand and becoming an entrepreneur. Your students will set up a successful lemonade stand using the Lemonade Stand Game online (link provided). Students will determine how much it will cost to make the lemonade, how they will make the lemonade and how much to charge for each cup. The project materials help to guide students to understand how to make the best business decisions and to track their progress. They are able to use their own data tracker to see what works, what didn't and how to make adjustments to improve profits. It is a great way to learn about the fundamentals of economics and becoming an entrepreneur. The project can be adapted easily to meet the needs of many different grade levels. ************************************************************************************** Includes a Google Classroom™ version in addition to the print-friendly version!
