This Jamboard geography activity helps students build their geography knowledge by identifying the continents and oceans using both shape and location. Ideal for follow-up to the traditional coloring and labeling of a paper map if students need extra practice, or for a no-print or distance-learning activity. (This is a shorter version of my Boomcards activity on the same topic. The Boomcards include audio so that students can hear the names pronounced.)
There are 15 frames (or slides) in this interactive activity, with a variety of question types, including:
Identify which continents and oceans are visible on the image
Identify which continents are NOT visible
Identify which names are continents, and which are oceans
Identify continents from their outline
Which name is NOT a continent?
Students use the pen tool on some slides to identify the correct answer, drag and drop labels on other slides, or type the names.
