Description

Teaching children with autism or special education needs how to have a conversation can be a challenging goal for many parents and teachers. These conversation social skills games are intended to introduce preschool or early elementary age children to the very simplest aspects of having a conversation with a peer. The first game gives students an opportunity to practice making reciprocal statements when given a statement or questions and the second game introduces the goal of understanding whether a statement or question is on topic. These are both critical beginning skills for students to master as they are tackling the difficult concept of having conversations with peers or adults.
