Are you looking for a way to tie math concepts to the real world that your students experience every day? I have a solution for you.
Welcome to Jurassic Jima Jam!! A theoretical dinosaur themed restaurant that is serving up some rawr-some decimal fun. With this product, one of my menu math products, students are presented with the concept of decimals in money form. They are given the chance to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals.
This product is three activities in one.
~Task Cards (print and digital) that can be used in a center, around the room, or as a scoot game.
~File Folder Activity: Students use a "menu" to create task cards for their classmates.
~Quick Check: This single sheet can be used as a checkpoint to monitor student understanding. It can also be an assignment to practice computing decimals.
