Description
Are you tired of students running to the back of the room to abuse the electric pencil sharpener? Do they never seem to have one on hand? Well no more! With this TinkerCAD project you have 3 options for them to make a sharpener they can keep on their desk or in their school bag. You can make a mason jar lid to put at each table. The students can make a personal sharpener, or even have fun with a creature sharpener!
You can print these up as gifts for your staff, or have them ready on your tables or labs. These used sharpener cores you can get in bulk from Oriental Trading (see document for link to the ones used.)
This is a field tested design. Use caution when using fruit jars the first time. If the sharpener won't fit into the jar, DON'T force it, but use some sandpaper to shave some plastic off the print.
