Description
Keeping students engaged is my number one goal with any resources. This Jeopardy style game is a great way to do just that!
This game covers all of the major 4th Grade Math standards including:
Place Value
Multiplication and Division
Geometry
Measurement
Representing Data
This digital resources is presented via Google Slides and can be used as a review game, a test prep resource or even as a digital stations activity. Students can lead themselves or their partner groups through the game OR it can be used as a whole class activity.
Not only does this game include standards aligned questions that mirror the kinds of questions students may see on state assessments, but it also include the answers with a complete explanation. This resource is self-checking...but better! Use it as a stand alone activity or within your measurement unit.
As a 4th grade teacher myself, I know how hard it can be to grab and maintain my students' attention for any length of time. I have found that turning as much as I can into a game has made it so much easier to compete with the instant gratification they get elsewhere. This game is not only a fun way to get students learning, but it provides them with motivation and engagement to build stamina and stay focused. I hope you love it as much as my students do!
