Description
The lesson includes a ready to go slide show with instructions and visuals for students to follow. All you will need is paper, pencil, rulers, stencils or circular objects like lids and colored pencils or crayons. Students will follow easy instructions like "draw 2 circles, one bigger than the other." Its as easy as that to give them time and space to build a non objective drawing that is light and fun to do.
There are tons of possibilities with this activity, it can be expanded on or left as a one day drawing. It can be used as a pre-assessment if you have data to collect. It can also just be a great way to get your students drawing day one without stress.
My students always love this one! I've done it with elementary through high school, its extremely versatile!
