This PPT give a structed system with all 220 Dolch sight words. It explains a system on how to check sight words everyday with an organized system. You will be able to highlight the names of the kids who sight words you've checked, how to change them out routinely, how to test them.
It has example slides in which you can insert the kids names and check what words they know or don't know!
It also helps see what kids you've already tested for sight words that day and up to 5 days after! This can be a great and QUICK tool to check kids one-on-one and not overwhelm them with large lists!
In my class, we used this everyday while students were completing morning work. It was easy to call them all up and finish by the time the bell rang. It helped me know who has worked on their sight words, see where they were struggling (what sounds), give them immediate feedback, and an accomplished feeling when they mastered a word. It helped keep me organized on where every student was at and did not overwhelm them with 10+ words everyday. All I needed was these slides and a computer! It also gave me a goof opportunity to talk to the students individually and congratulate them when they got the words correct!
