Description
Far and Away starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman takes the viewers on a journey of two Irish immigrants to the US and the journey they must overcome to deal with not just their problems, but also the problems of acclimating to a coming into its own United States in the late 1800's.
The film itself does a pretty good job of showing the grittiness of what it was like for the boat loads of Irish and other immigrants who made their way to our countries shores. The movie guide is time stamped for the questions it asks, and it has two final questions at the end of the document. Some paintings and charts are used as well for enrichment.
NOTE: Question 13C is a joke question, something to have a little fun with your kids about. Please do not take it seriously.
