Students will find this activity motivating, and it will encourage students to examine the physical, political, economic, and cultural characteristics of North America, including Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. This is the perfect activity to introduce and begin your North America unit.

For this activity, provide each student with a student activity sheet. Students will work in groups of two to four, depending on their class ability and experience in working in cooperative groups using the internet, books, and other resources available to them.
