Description

Perspective analysis and reflection encourage students to think about their learning with this Antebellum Reform project. An efficient way to cover these reforms with a different slant as students become the leaders of the movements. They must reflect on how they learn as an introduction to cognitive task analysis.

Possible instructional opportunities:

Individual - Students turn the questions into a chart and work on the reform movements or if you have more time, they can complete voice-over options in a slideshow format.
Collaborative - Students form groups, pick one reform movement for each student in the group, and perform a speech about that movement answering the questions. This could be a class presentation as well.

WHAT YOU GET
~ A doc with project details, a checklist, and a reflection question.
~ A 'back in time" project that changes the thinking perspective about the content and their learning.
