Gold Hunt Game - Printables
Find, Count & Write Numbers 1-60
Grades 1-3
Instructions: Print materials, hide/spread gold coins & place the pot of gold scene in a central location. Pick a random flashcard and the student(s) must find correct amount of coins, place them on the pot of gold scene and write that amount on the game card to win the game. If student does not find any coins then they will write 0. Goal of the game: Find the correct amount of gold coins shown on the flashcard. Place the gold coins collected on the pot.
Write down the correct number of gold coins. Rules: Student wins when you have checked if the amount of coins on the pot of gold and the number they wrote matches the number on the game card.
*There are many variations to our game! Time the game for a challenge. As a group game there are many options; winner would be the first to correctly find coins, place them on the pot and write the number - first to write the number and bring it to a location to get checked would win, etc. Each player can also have their own gold pot as well!
