Description
This resource is my 4 page (2 page printed duplex) lab report exploring groundwater and infiltration. The lab report contains 3 different procedures that walks students through how water travels through soil, sand, and a soil/sand combination. The final page is teacher notes.
Materials needed per partner group:
Beaker
Clear plastic cup with holes drilled into the bottom
Food coloring
1 cup of soil
1 cup of sand
1 cup of soil and sand
Water
Graduated cylinder
For teacher: Waste buckets (I used three 5 gallon buckets)
