Inspired by the interest of fruits and vegetables primarily in the summer or spring time but also can be prevalent during the winter months when fruits are less common in our daily snack options. Children are provided with play foods and each assigned a play food column as they work together using shoe boxes, blocks, or rulers to measure their height and practice early graphing skills to complete this multi-step math and fine-motor skills experience.
