Description
Hidden Figures, a film from 2016 exploring the African American women "computers" of NASA dives into the societal perspectives and changes that were occurring during both our Civil Rights movement as well as the Space Race between the United States and Soviet Union.
It also dives into a little viewed issue of how women during this time period dealt with discrimination and how they championed over it step by step. the film is excellent, but it does have its parts that are untrue - this has been documented and is explained in the list of questions that have been provided.
The questions have been time stamped to make it easier for students to view specific sections of the film for specific questions. There are also three final questions at the end of the packet.
If for any reason you see errors or would like to ask me a question - please feel free to do so. Thank you!
