Integers 6th and 7th Grade is a complete introduction and review of integers. It includes:
the definition of integers
uses of integers in daily life
plotting integers on a number line
absolute value
comparing integers using
operations with integers - add, subtract, multiply, and divide
integers with exponents
additional math vocabulary
This PowerPoint is a presentation that can be printed as note starters, worksheets, or quick quizzes. The speaker's notes are practice problems that give you a printable worksheet. The slides are basic and straightforward, with one or two examples. You can just run the slide show or project the notes view to show the worksheet version of the file. Students can come to the interactive board or whiteboard and answer the questions. When you print the notes view, you get a worksheet with information on the top half and questions on the bottom. If you print just the notes, you get half-page worksheets or quizzes.
Ways to use Integers 6th and 7th:
Direct Instruction with a worksheet.
Print the slides for easy note starters. The students glue the slide to the top of the note page and add more details during the lesson. These notes can be used with most textbooks.
Use for remediation. Students that don't remember or missed integers can do a quick, independent review.
