Guided Reading Lesson Plan - fuel for actual instruction and discussion. This lesson starts with a mention of the Judicial Branch, but it can't be meaningfully discussed without familiarity with the Constitution, which includes the Bill of Rights. The first two Amendments of the Bill of Rights are thoroughly discussed here, and then a finish by viewing the subject through a different historical lens.
I have pioneered the "Rock Drill" method. All my writing winds information downwards to delve deep, like a rock drill. The progression starts with a broader discussion and penetrates by focusing on a single point that unearths more information as it goes. In other words, instead of the old-fashioned 'drill' where we try to bore in certain terms, we select entire concepts and excavate as much earth as necessary to reach that concept.
