Get your students interested in the world around them and encourage higher-level thinking while having fun!! This higher-level thinking skill lesson encourages student participation. This is written as a group activity but can be easily modified into an individual assignment. All resources and links are provided. Includes roll play, graph skills needed for state testing, group activity, organizing thoughts through the graphic organizer, and class debate. This lesson plan can be modified to reach as young as 7th grade and as old as 12th. Throw out the worksheets and provide engaging, high-level thinking activities.

Requires some teacher preparations such as reading, reproducing, and set up for roll play. Step-by-step instruction included. Videos and article link included.
