Description
Julius Caesar Act 5 - a complete set of lessons with a self-grading quiz!
This Julius Caesar Act 5 Teaching Pack provides opportunities for you to choose and adapt the activities and assessments that best fit the needs of your students. Julius Caesar Act 5 is the shortest act in the play and provides the denouement before the resolution. Students will analyze Brutus as a Tragic Hero and the play as a tragedy.
_________________________________________
Reading Questions: These scene-by-scene questions go in order of the play's text. The Inference questions are for the entire act. An answer key for suggested responses is included.
Vocabulary Squares: Because everyone is different, I have provided five vocabulary words from the text AND a blank form for you or your students to choose different contextual vocabulary words from the text.
Quotation Analysis: A teaching master sheet is included for teaching this process to students and modeling HOW to analyze quotes before students attempt to analyze quotes on their own. A second form with quotations from the reading selection is included with a key of suggested responses. Also, there is a blank form for you or your students to choose different quotations.
Analysis - Tragedy: The activities include analysis questions on tragedy applied to the play, an outline of tragic elements relating to Brutus as the tragic hero, and activities for a short project on the act.
Quiz: The quiz has two options for administration: print or use Google Forms ™️ self-grading quiz. The links provided in the PDF document will let you make your own editable copy in Google Docs™️ or Google Forms™️.
