Text-based lesson plan, fuel for actual instruction and discussion. I have pioneered what I call the "rock drill" method - Start with broader context (the broad part of a drill) and work downwards to the point, which is the specific thing they need to know for examinations. This is a lesson that introduces the concept of economics, with a segue into environmental science that freely associates the concepts of both economics and environmental science (sustainability).
The "Rock Drill" method also utilizes literary reading assignments (not given here) in order to foster the readiness to process information from any given subject - this is helpful for children with spectrum disorders, because they require coaching on how to transition from "Economics" to "Story Time" (reading) without "breaking the rules".
