Description
Teaching social skills, behavior skills and social language skills to teens can be tough. This no prep social emotional learning packet include funs, engaging and socially relevant worksheets and activities to teach pragmatic concepts as well as teach students how to have successful social interactions. Included are age appropriate social scenarios and real life pictures that teens can relate to.
Making social predictions is a difficult concept. To have successful social interactions with others, we need to be constantly making predictions about:
-What others are thinking
-What others might say
-What others might do next
-What is happening in the social setting
-How others feel
Without these skills, breakdowns in social interactions can occur. If we can't make a social prediction about what someone might do next/what someone is thinking etc, this can cause US to do the wrong action, say the wrong thing etc.
This packet looks at breaking down these key areas and then putting it all together to help students make successful social predictions. This is aimed towards teens (middle and high school students).
This is available as:
Print in both color and black and white
Typeable PDF
