It sets the tone for their high school years!
You can use any or all of the pages. Tailor it to fit your students!
Cover Sheets "
►Two sheets with editable PDF sections. Be sure you know how to edit a PDF.
►Students can also add their own name/picture/art in the large space available.
Essay Sheets " These are for students to write letters to various people including themselves.
►Letter to 5th, 6th, or 7th Grade Self
►Letter to High School Senior Self
►Letter to Incoming 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th Graders
►Letter to Person of Their Choice " Favorite Teacher, Coach, Parent, Friend
►Blank page for students who need an additional page for writing
Suggestions for writing letters. Use this as a handout or as discussion prompts prior to the writing assignment.
Favorites " A great way to think about what they like today and see how their likes have changed during the last four years. There are two of these pages. One with 8th grade as highest grade, and one with 7th grade as the highest grade.
Cha Ching " Students can research how much various items they use daily cost today to look back on in a few years to see how things change. There is also a section to add some of their own things.
4 Year Plan " Use this sheet for students to set goals for themselves and how they plan to achieve them. Education, Health, Travel, Family Fun, and Financial.
Simply the Best " Record what was the best in their senior year " Movie, Album, Song etc.
6 Years " A look back and look forward 6 years! What were they like 6 years ago and what do they hope to be like 6 years from now.
Thinking Ahead " You can never go back to middle school, but you always remember what you will miss and what you won't miss.
