Description

The Mitosis Logic Puzzle is a content-themed matrix (i.e., elimination grid) puzzle that challenges students to think critically while reviewing cell division and cell structure. This resource requires no prep and makes a great enrichment or review activity for high school biology students learning about phases of the cell cycle.

Who Is This Product For?
The Mitosis Matrix is best suited for secondary Biology students due to its challenging nature.

What Is a Matrix Puzzle and What Is Included in This Product?
Matrix puzzles, also known as logic grid puzzles or elimination grid puzzles, contain a set of clues and a grid to be filled in. The grid represents the possible relationships between items featured in the puzzle, and the goal is to accurately determine those relationships based on the clues.

To complete the Mitosis Logic Puzzle, students must apply their knowledge of different cell types, the cell cycle, and the stages of mitosis to determine which phase each cell is in, as well as the name of the fictional student who is observing it, and in which room each student is located.

Included in Your Purchase:

• Mitosis Logic Puzzle key
• Teacher Notes including a step-by-step solution guide
• Terms of Use Agreement
