Description
Seeing my students for music, band, and choir classes only once or twice per week, I noticed that they needed more motivation to improve week to week and visualization on their accomplishments. So, I developed a bulletin board of BINGO cards for each class. The BINGO cards act as incentives for the students and a place to facilitate grading the student's skills. Each square on a card has a specific objective for the quarter and is either music or behavior related. Students receive rewards for accomplishing three objectives in a row and then all of the objectives. I have seen so much improvement in behavior and motivation to do well, especially in my general music classes that I see only once per week.
