Description
Reinforce sight words, counting, number recognition, and number tracing with your young learners! Students will gain fluency and confidence as they practice sight words, one-to-one correspondence counting, number recognition, and number writing with these engaging count and trace emergent readers!
These family emergent readers are easy to assemble and include kid-friendly clipart, easy-to-read fonts, and basic repetitive text with short phrases and whole sentences. Students will be able to count and trace the number of family members on each page. This activity can be used in small and large group instruction, math and literacy centers, or even sent home for extra reinforcement!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR EASY ASSEMBLY:
Copy, staple, and cut in half for 2 books!
This set includes 4 versions with 2 different covers for each version:
1) “Family” cover
• Black and white version
• 13 pages
• Short counting phrases 0-10 — “1 family member”
• Sight word — family
• Practice 1:1 correspondence counting, number recognition, and number formation by tracing numbers 0-10
• Read, trace, and color
2) “My Family Counting Book” cover
• Black and white version
• 13 pages
• Complete sentences for each number 0-10 — “I see 1 family member.”
• Sight words — I, see, family
• Practice 1:1 correspondence counting, number recognition, and number formation by tracing numbers 0-10
• Read, trace, and color
3) “Family” cover
• Color version
• 13 pages
