Description
Mystery Student is a great classroom management technique! Here's how it works:
Before school starts, randomly choose a Mystery Student of the day and write their name on the board. Then, after you have printed (and laminated if desired) the Mystery Student sign (previous page), hang the sign over the name on the board to hide it. Let students know that you will be watching the Mystery Student all day to see if they are working hard and behaving! At the end of the day, if the mystery student has met or exceeded expectations, reveal the name to the class and let student choose a prize! If the Mystery Student did not meet expectations for the day do not reveal the name. Instead, let students know that the Mystery Student did not meet expectations and they will have to try again another day. (Print first page on cardstock so you can't see through the paper!)
This classroom management tool helps hold all students accountable for staying on task and following school rules and expectations each day!
