Description
It's time to spit some sick bars, yo!
Thinking from the perspective of one of the characters in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, students will work together to create a sick rap song. In groups, each student will be responsible for writing a verse from a character's perspective before collaborating on a chorus.
This digital download includes a professionally-designed, editable slideshow. The slideshow includes relevant lesson standards, the lesson's learning objective, the lesson's purpose, the activity's directions, an example of a verse written from Crooks' perspective, an example of a chorus, and a slide to display group members. The activity is challenging, yet creative and engaging!
