If your students struggle with identifying parts of speech, this card sorting game is the perfect activity or classroom center! Students practice parts of speech as they sort nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in this interactive, hands-on activity.
How to play: students read a card and place it under the parts of speech heading.
DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION
✏️ Students can work at their own pace through this self-directed sorting activity
✏️ Teachers can assign all four headings and sixty cards to students, or for struggling students, just one or two headings (Nouns and Adverbs) and card examples.
✏️ Self-Checking: tell students ahead of time that there should be 15 example cards in each of the four headings so they can check themselves as they work!
This game is perfect for a quick review, mini-lesson, or math center. The game features 60 sorting cards in big, bold, easy to read fonts on bright, colorful cards! Don't give out another worksheet---students will love this hands-on, interactive card sorting game!
