Description
Special learners need special materials! I have loved using Readinga-z.com's excellent books, but each book requires visuals and adaptations to meet the needs of my special learners. Using Boardmaker and their familiar Picture Communicaiton Symbols, I have created a pack of companion materials to accompany All About Penguins, a level C book from their library (book not included - see their website for a free trial).
All of my book packs include the following:
Vocabulary cards
Visually-supported comprehension questions
Visually-supported answers
Visually-supported sentence scrambles
Word/picture sort
Tracers
Bingo boards (6 in all)
Lotto board
I recommend laminating all the materials and adding Velcro for moveable pieces, increasing the longevity of your purchase.
