Are you looking for a comprehensive reading assessment to use with your K-2nd grade students? Use this assessment tool to test for letter names, sounds, reading words, sight words and sentences.
Can be used as an ongoing assessment to track student growth several times through the school year. Also serves as a great assessment that can be shared with families to communicate student's progress.

- letter names
- letter sounds
- digraphs and diphthongs
- CVC words
- reading words with digraphs (th, sh, ch, wh, ph)
- beginning consonant blends
- ending consonant blends
- r-controlled vowels (ar, or, ir, er, ur)
- vowel patterns (ing, ong, ung, ang, oo, ow, oi, oy)
- long vowels + silent e
- long vowel teams (ay, ai, ee, ea, igh, oa)
- sentence reading (progressively more complex)
