Description
Students will love this fun narrative writing craft. It can be used to talk about what students' have done over a long break or to allow students to create a fun story about an imaginative road trip that students' "take" with their families. This writing project pairs well with a social studies unit on geography where you have talked about various states or places that students can write about seeing on their road trips.
Students will brainstorm, draft, plan, edit and publish a writing piece about 4 different events that occurred on their road trip. Afterwards, students will complete a simple craft to add a pop of color and fun to their writing.
