Description
Students will learn about the purpose of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement). This scaffolded activity simplifies USMCA's and NAFTA's purpose and policies and helps all students access grade level content!
This resource has been updated to include an activity for USMCA, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which replaced NAFTA in 2020.
Evaluate the United States' economic policy with these USMCA and NAFTA activities.

Different ways that you can use this activity:
Give students this activity and have them research the answers online (either individually or with a partner)
Give students this activity as an assessment
Give students this activity to complete (either online or using notes), then afterwards have them debate whether we should keep or get rid of USMCA
