This Level 2-3 Spanish Reading offers an easy, no-prep way to kick off Women's History Month or Hispanic Heritage Month! It uses the past simple (pretérito) and comprehensible words to describe the life and work of Selena Quintanilla, the famous pop star who brought Tejana Music to the masses.
I love to use activities like this for a do-now, guided reading, or part of station-based work in my classroom.
