Hi there!
I created this product for my 4th graders in order to discuss self-control in a fun and relaxed way. This script follows Bertie, a sweet young monster, as he exhibits displays of lacking some self-control - which results in disappointing those he loves. With some guidance from his caring teacher, Mrs. Monster, Bertie learns some new techniques, tips, and tricks for learning how to help to build his self-control.
My students really took well to it - it opened up some natural conversation afterwards and they even offered their own strategies for exhibiting self-control too!
There are 11 speaking roles.
