Description
This word order activity is great as an independent center, for morning work, a homework page, or a quiet activity for the Early Finisher. It gives first and second grade children practice with cutting & pasting, coloring, penmanship, and reading simple sentences.
Children will cut apart the sentence from the bottom of the page and glue it in order into the box. Remind them to use the capital letter clue and punctuation clue (as well as the picture, sometimes) to help them make it make sense. Then the children will write the sentence on the line with their very best handwriting. Finally, your students will color the adorable themed pictures. There are 6 pages in this set. Happy Teaching!
*As an independent activity, it may be best to use this with second graders, or higher level first graders. On-level first graders may need to be guided.
