Description
This is a template that I developed to discipline High School students with severe emotional disturbance.
It includes a template for a student behavior contract that can be modified to address individual issues in class.
They are to write theses sentences on the page when they chose to disobey the class rules and expectations set for them. The students hate writing, and hate having to deal with the consequences of their actions.
This helps students with ED understand the consequences of their behavior. It also gives the teacher and student a time out to cool down. It also communicates to the parents what issues are going on at school.
This template can be modified as needed for the individual students. IEP and 504 accommodations can also be incorperated to this contract.
