Description
This is a large pack for the Sign of the Cross prayer for early learners. There are posters and activity worksheets to help kids learn how to properly pray the Sign of the Cross. The posters come in color and black & white, to hang on the wall as posters or to make a booklet. It also have several worksheets and activities to learn or review the Sign of the Cross. There's 32 pages (now 38 pages) with a clickable Table of Contents to make it easier find each of the printables.
Included in this pack are….
• Posters for the Sign of the Cross in color and b&w
• 5 worksheets with answer keys (Dot-to-Dot, Cut & Paste Motion Words, Matching, Fill in the Blank - Print Tracing, and Sequence the Actions)
• Posters for how to pray the Sign of the Cross in color and b&w
• Memory match/concentration cards in color and b&w
• 4 copywork/handwriting practice pages (2 for print, 2 for cursive)
These are activities that I do with my class (PreK-K), but they could be used with older students. Since I teach little ones, to help them control their movements, we start by raising our right hand and moving toward our forehead. I put a sticker on their right hand for a couple weeks to get them used to which hand to use. I hope these are a blessing to your kids and that they enjoy them as much as mine do!
UPDATE: (10/18/2020) The posters have been updated with cute kids making the Sign of the Cross movements. This will help students better relate to the actions.
Additions to the pack are....
• 3 Worksheets (Cut & Paste Cross, Fill in the Blank - Print, and Cut & Paste Motions
• 3 Answer Keys for Worksheets
The additions can be seen on the last page of the preview and the poster preview has been updated as well.
SUGGESTION: You can print 2 pages per sheet of the posters and make a booklet out of it.
