Description

This Activity aligns with Next Generation Science Standards:

Introduction to Solar Systems Objects
It has a brief history of the subject, with an overview of all the most important points. It also includes diagrams and illustrations to help illustrate what they're learning and make it more fun.

✍️ Reading passages with related questions about dwarf planets, meteors, comets, and moons
✍️ Match each vocabulary word to the correct definition
✍️ Choose one moon in the solar system and research five interesting facts about it
✍️ Identify if the following statement is true or false
use the internet to research dwarf planets about their year of discovery, number of moons, name of moons, and their discoverer
✍️ Search information about the discovery of asterion in the year 1801
✍️ Draw a meteor, meteoroid, and meteorite and write their differences
✍️ Identify the characteristics of asteroids, comets, and meteors
✍️ Solar system scavenger hunt activity
✍️ Fun science experiment: Observe objects in the Solar System

Answer Key to Activities
All Science Activities include an answer key that is available as PDF and Google Slides. The answer key is a valuable resource to use in the classroom, or at home, as they help students learn how to explain their answers, check if their explanations are correct, and improve their scientific knowledge and thinking skills.
