Description
In this real world application, students are tasked with using inequalities to budget and create a backyard landscape design for their client. Your Algebra 1 students will need to define their budget, create and solve inequalities, and design their landscaping plan. They will then compare and contrast their findings in order to defend their design decisions. Three scaffolded templates are included to assist students in their budget planning and creation of inequalities. This can be used as an in class activity, group work, or assessment.
