Who says Algebra 1 students can't have fun and do turkey crafts?! In this Thanksgiving math turkey craft activity, students will solve multi-step inequalities on separate "feathers" and then put them together to create their very own festive math turkey!
Included are 8 multi-step ienqualites and 2 word problems that students will have to translate and then solve. The turkeys fit 8 'feathers" neatly, anymore will overlap. I have my 80-minute classes do 8 problems and my 45-minute classes do 5 problems.
Teacher prep: Each page has 6 of the same inequality problems on it so you can copy on different colored paper to make the feathers colorful. OR you can print on white paper and have students color their feathers and decorate them after completing all the problems! There is a bit of cutting and gluing to get the turkey bodies together, so I will sometimes have a few of those put together already for the students who take longer doing the math!
