Description

This tutorial provides young adults, who need to earn a minimum wage, with a starting point on deciding where they can make the most money and be able to live sustainably. Four states are highlighted as possible choices: Arizona, New Mexico, Washington, and Oregon. Calculations are given for a hypothetical or pretend spending plan after renting a room in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Viewers are encouraged to use www.spareroom.com to develop the basic cost of housing in an area they would prefer to live as long as it is emotionally, psychologically, and physically safe to live in that space. The author offers a disclaimer stating that at no time is the expectation for viewers to survive on minimum wages. Instead, viewers are encouraged to earn as much as they can but after the video, they will have new strategies on how to live sustainably until their next big gig comes along.
