Description
Hands-on activities with building blocks challenges for the win! Engage and motivate kids as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Use for morning tubs, recess bins, STEAM/STEM time, and at-home or distance learning!

There are also 24 projectable challenge pages, with corresponding written response planning pages with the challenges written at the top. Additionally, there are reflection pages to use as a follow up to each challenge.
So, how do you use this?
In our classroom, I printed the cards on card stock and then laminated. I punched a hole in the cards and put them on a binder ring so kids can flip through and choose the card they would like to try with a tub of building blocks or any generic building blocks we have in the classroom.
Another option is to project one challenge for the entire class to use at the same time, while using their own random assortment of building bricks. I like to set a timer.
A third way to use these challenges is to give kids the challenge planning page, which has the challenge written on the top, so they can work independently.

Materials required: building bricks assortment for each child or small group of children working together.
