Description

Black-and-white lined coloring page of the mathematician, aerospace technologist, human computer, and NASA researcher Katherine Johnson, who helped the USA get astronauts from Earth into space and to the moon. Her life as a black woman in STEM during segregated times in American history was portrayed in the film "Hidden Figures" and chronicled in the book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly. The graphic motif is based on Johnson's work calculating orbits for moon missions and technical reports she co-authored. Basic information about this African American mathematician from West Virginia is included in the text below the image. Her quote at the bottom comes from a NASA article from when she received the 2015 National Medal of Freedom.

Size: 8.5" x 11" paper by default, but you can print it out on paper as large or small as you want, for posters, trading cards, etc.
